Through on-line talks, exhibitions, seminars, workshops, conferences and joint research projects, the Education Academy goals are:

• Map the kaleidoscopic field of architectural education in Europe and globally;
• Identify concepts regarding the intentions and position of architecture education, and how they relate to the changing role and profession of the architect;
• Discuss and trace pedagogies which respond to these educational aims;
• Identify conditions, circumstances and challenges faced by institutions and educators, seeking to ensure diversity, vigour and responsiveness within an architectural education;
• Consider how best to gather current information about our EAAE partners;
• Identify members who are or wish to be active in researching architectural education;
• Form an open and collegiate community – an academy of education;
• Consider what actions and activities might best support the development of the Academy;
• Consider how to engage with the missing component – the student.
