CA²RE+ NEWS
As a partner of the CA2RE+ project, the EAAE is proud to announce the publication of the proceedings book for the TU Delft CA2RE+ conference, available in open access through TU Delft Open.
CA2RE/CA2RE+, the Conference for Artistic and Architectural Research, is dedicated to promoting Design-Driven Doctoral Research (DDDr). The central theme of this event revolves around the “RECOMMENDATION” for Design-Driven Doctoral Research. This theme is a natural progression from the main topics explored in the previous CA2RE+ conferences, which included OBSERVATION, SHARING, COMPARISON, REFLECTION, and FRAMEWORK.

ReCrAFting Cities
We are happy to support ReCrAFting Cities: Arts and culture for sustainable urban spaces, an online Horizon Europe programme event on 6.12.2023, bringing together city and cultural representatives to exchange experiences around the contribution of arts and culture towards inclusive, creative and sustainable urban spaces. In the spirit of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative, CrAFT envisions a future where arts and culture are catalysts for a profound transformation of our cities towards climate neutrality.

Daylight Talk #17 on 14 December 2023 – ‘Between Capricorn & Cancer’.
Suryawinata (ID) & Florian Heinzelmann (DE) from SHAU Architects will be talking about daylighting in tropical regions, exploring design approaches between the quantitative and qualitative, rational and intuitive, formal and informal, while oscillating within these boundaries.
