Architecture Lecturers
at University of Reading, Architecture
Reading Berkshire, GB
There is an exciting opportunity to join a new School of Architecture at the University of Reading which is committed to an innovative model of architectural education. The School is developing a strong research and practice informed education model from first year to the proposed Masters in Architecture course. We are now seeking to appoint two experienced lecturers, with expertise in History and Theory of Architecture or in Representation and Communication (traditional and digital), to support the development and delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, contribute to develop curriculum and teach design in studio.
The School’s vision strongly relates our education programmes and curriculum to current issues in practice and contemporary research. We are therefore seeking to appoint lecturers who will actively use their research to inform their teaching, and to enhance our students’ experience to underpin the School’s educational philosophy where the design studio is the centre of practice, teaching and research.
