EAAE Deans’ Summit 2021, Oslo 22.04.-23.04.2021 – The Pledge
We thank all participating for the valuable contributions to EAAE’s first Deans’ Summit.
Please find the latest version of the pledge, where we incorporated the inputs from the various discussions here.
The European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE) and The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) would like to invite leaders of Schools of Architecture to the EAAE Deans’ Summit 2021, which will because of C19 restrictions be arranged as a webinar on 22 April to 23 April 2021.
The EAAE Deans’ Summit is organised for the first time, and it will be an annual event of the EAAE, providing an opportunity to meet and discuss issues concerning the current state of architectural education and research, as well as contemporary conditions of the profession.
The title of the Deans’ Summit 2021 is “Change the game – take responsibility – nurture sustainability – change the world” and addresses the growing capacity and intensity of our possibilities to intervene urgent issues like climate change or the pandemic.
The conference takes place over the course of two days, and the second day will focus on the future of the universities. We will address the various aspects of the proposed topics during thematic sessions, keynote speeches and ’break out rooms’ discussions.
Check the detailed program here for Thursday 22 April from 09:00 to 17:00 and Friday 23 April from 09:00 to 13:00.
We might have to limit the number of participants because we arrange this as a webinar with break out rooms. Nevertheless, we hope that all deans – as leaders of Architectural Education and Research – in Europe will join in. The admission to the event will be based on the sequence of the registration.
The registration will close on Monday April 19th at 16:00 and a Zoom link to the webinar will be sent out to all participants on Tuesday April 20th.
Please note that the registration below is only open for EAAE members, Deans and Vice Deans or someone authorized by them to represent their institution.
Registrations are closed.
