In name of the Conservation Network we would like to thank all those who responded to our earlier message.

It was heartening to hear of your continuing interest in the work of the Network and to receive so many kind and supportive messages as well.

As a result we are encouraged to take the next step. A virtual meeting will take place on 09 July at 17.00 -18.30 CET kindly hosted by Prof. Donatella Fiorani.

The meeting will have 3 parts to it:

1.  a short update on the Prague workshop
2. a discussion among Network members: for this we ask any participant who wishes to cont ribute, to send to us a short note (half-page maximum) on how the pandemic has impacted on heritage questions and didactic activity in the field of conservation. Those that we receive before 6 July we can summarise and present, and give the floor to the participants for further discussion;
3. We will conclude by inviting proposals for the next workshop, virtual or real.
