DISPOSITIONS

The CA²RE Community (Conferences for Artistic and Architectural Research) is an open network that aims to improve Design-Driven research quality through intensive peer-reviewing at critical stages. The CA²RE conferences bring together senior staff, advanced researchers and early-career researchers to understand, scrutinise and enhance the quality of research through intensive peer reviews.

CALL FOR PAPERS

For the submission, the applicants are asked to provide the following:

• extended abstracts: 800-1200 words including illustrations (max two pages of images, as an integral part of the submitted file);
• artefacts: 600-800 words including illustrations (max four pages of images, as an integral part of the submitted file);
• both formats: a short reflection on the importance and role of the design-driven research approach, methodologies, techniques and tools employed in the research project (max 250 words), referring as well to the conference’s main topic of dispositions.

A short CV (max 100 words). Do not include the CV in the main file you’ll be uploading.

We will send layout specifications upon acceptance. The 60-minutes presentation and discussion with international reviewers at the conference will be regarded as a second peer review. During the presentation, we invite participants to experiment with presentation formats.
