It’s still possible to sign up for the Erasmus+ CA²RE+ learning Teaching Training from 26.–30. March 2020 in Trondheim. The events (Intenvise Study Programme and Joint Staff Training) expand into the CA²RE conference from 27.–29. March.
Our first EAAE Deans Summit from 23.–25. April 2020 in Oslo arouses great interest. The summit aims at reaching a collaborative platform for deans of Architecture Schools in Europe – and maybe beyond – to address the urgent topic of “change the game – take responsibility – nurture sustainability – change the world” in the education and research activities of our institutional programmes and strategical initiatives. Registration is still open.
This year’s topic of our Annual Conference will be “New Dimensions”. The increase in scale and the overlapping of disciplines in the fields of architecture – urbanism – landscape architecture in current practice needs to be reflected in current education. The conference will take place from 26.–29. August 2020 at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague. The programme will be ready soon, so please check our website regularly.
VELUX will be also this year the main sponsor of our Annual Conference and General Assembly. Registration for the International Velux Award is open until 1. April 2020. Please encourage your students to participate.
On 5. February 2020, the Asia Edition of Young Talent Architecture Award was launched as an inherent part of the EU Mies Award (EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award). The Asia Edition of Young Talent Architecture Award (YTAA) runs parallel with the 2020 European edition.
