Memorandum of Cooperation signed between EAAE and ELIA
We are very pleased to announce that the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with ELIA. This signed agreement is an important step to establishing a successful cooperation and includes mutual exchange, possible cooperation in project initiatives and invitations to each other’s events.
ELIA and EAAE are both networks that promote higher arts education and facilitate knowledge exchange and academic discourse. The new agreement will further define and enhance the working relationship between them.
The two networks previously cooperated on activities around artistic research, such as the SHARE project and in particular through activities initiated by Johan Verbeke. Most recently, ELIA and EAAE, along with ARENA, EURICUR and eCAADe, organised the ENABLE Symposium in Ghent, Belgium, which was hosted by KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture. The symposium was in the memory of Johan Verbeke and honored his commitment and efforts in the field of artistic research.
ELIA and EAAE will continue to dedicate themselves to the development of research and to the international exchange of best practices in the field of higher arts education.
