General Assembly and Annual Conference 2018
Dear Members of EAAE, dear Colleagues,
It is my pleasure to inform you that, at its meeting in Athens, the EAAE Council has decided to collaborate with the Faculdade de Arquitectura at Universidade do Porto as the hosting institution for the EAAE General Assembly and Annual Conference 2018. We highly appreciate the convincing proposal, the openness of University of Porto for the development of the conference modus and topic together with the EAAE Council, and the attention to cost and budget evident in the proposal. The Faculdade de Arquitectura in Porto has been and is a very supportive EAAE member school, and has engaged itself in numerous activities promoting our common agenda over many years.
A steering committee of the Council for the GA and AC 2018 will start working with the Faculdade de Arquitectura at University of Porto to proceed with the next steps of the planning.
We thank the school very much for their willingness to take up this task. We are looking forward to a wonderful event in Porto at the end of August/beginning of September 2018.
In this respect, we would also like to inform you that the Council has decided to look ahead further and has started planning for the General Assembly and Annual Conference 2019 as well. We are very pleased to announce that the Faculty of Architecture at Zagreb University, which will be celebrating one hundred years of continuous architectural education in 2019, has been selected as host to that year’s General Assembly and the Annual Conference.
