Objects of Schooling. On Visual Pedagogies in Architectural Education from 1945 to 1985
The question of how architectural theory is produced and used in different settings is often ignored. Responding to this lacuna, a workshop will be organised on Friday 3th of April 2015 in Leuven (Belgium), exploring how theoretical knowledge was formed and transmitted through texts and objects in architectural education between 1945 and 1985. Which kind of knowledge was cultivated through for instance course notes, study books, architectural models, drawings, isometries, axonometries, schemes, graphical representations and diagrams?
