Conservation/Adaptation: Keeping alive the spirit of the place. Adaptive reuse of heritage with ‘symbolic value’

Dear Colleagues and Friends of the EAAE thematic Network on Conservation,
We are really pleased to announce that the Vth Workshop of the Network will be hosted in Belgium, from 13-16 October 2105, coordinated by prof. Koenraad Van Clempoel of the University of Hasselt

The title of the workshop, following the decisions taken during the “Intermediate Network Meeting”, hosted in Genoa in May 2014, is:
“CONSERVATION/ADAPTATION: KEEPING ALIVE THE SPIRIT OF THE PLACE. ADAPTIVE REUSE OF HERITAGE WITH ‘SYMBOLIC VALUE”

We hope you can participate in what will be a truly stimulating event, focused on a topic of widespread relevance. We send our strong encouragement – your participation will bring a highly valuable scientific and cultural contribution to the success of the workshop. We also ask you to disseminate this announcement to other colleagues that would be interested in the topic and who might participate, so that we can enlarge and reinforce the Network’s composition and its future life.
You can find information about the event (the call for abstracts, dates, contacts,, organizing committee and Scientific Council composition, venue…), by connecting to the following web-site.
We also inform you that the contact e-mail address from which you will receive any further information about the event, and to which you can send your communications or requests for information, will be: conservation15@uhasselt.be
With the hope of meeting you all again in Belgium, we send our most cordial greetings.
