Call for examples of practices undertaking Post Occupancy Evaluation across Europe

Lorraine Farrelly and Flora Samuel from the University of Reading, UK are working on the 2nd phase of the Architect’s Council of Europe Value of Design and the Role of the Architect report. The first report can be found here. https://www.ace-cae.eu/uploads/tx_jidocumentsview/Value_of_Design.pdf

The second more detailed report will include a contextual report on research in practice across Europe as well as a series of Post Occupancy Evaluation Case Studies, building on the model developed for the RIBA report Building Knowledge. https://www.architecture.com/-/media/gathercontent/post-occupancy-evaluation/additional-documents/buildingknowledgepathwaystopoepdf.pdf

We are keen to hear from practices who would be interested in developing a Post Occupancy Evaluation case study with us. Our interest is in intangible, social, impacts as well as more quantifiable environmental impacts. We are also keen to hear of any reports or research on research in practice, whether country specific or Europe wide that were not included in the first report.

If you have any suggestions please contact Flora Samuel f.b.samuel@reading.ac.uk in the first instance. The deadline for submissions is 31 January 2020.
