Susanne Komossa graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, Delft University of Technology, where she also attained her PhD-degree in technical sciences. From 1984 – 2004 she worked as a practicing architect and founded the Rotterdam based architecture firm Komossa architecten bna. Since 2004, appointed an associate professor of Architectural Design, chair of Architectural Composition / Public Building at the Delft Faculty of Architecture, she is the project leader of the MSc / PhD architecture research and teaching program ‘Architecture and the City; Public Building / Public Realm, composition & tectonics’.
